TV Review: The Mandalorian “Chapter 2”

This episode is spoiler free.

The Mandalorian‘s second episode, although rather short, continues to confirm that this series is going to be something rather special.

I can’t go in to a lot of detail without spoiling plot elements, which I’m not going to do, as I appreciate a lot of the reading audience may not be able to watch the show yet, or at the very least will be watching with some form of delay while they try and source a copy of the episode.

What I can say is, however, is that Chapter 2 succeeds in completely hooking it’s audience. More questions are raised and barely any answers are given, whilst immersing us in some more brilliant Star Wars action that is up there with some of the best we’ve ever seen on screen.

The Mandalorian continues to dazzle visually, with quite possibly some of the best production values I’ve ever seen in a television series and the soundtrack is mesmerising, I can’t stop listening to it!

The only gripe again is that the runtime was way too short, I think that’s the general criticism from most fans who were expecting a lot more content. However, I suppose the age old saying is “quality over quantity”, and thankfully the quality is in abundance.

I can’t wait to see what happens next, bring on Chapter 3!

I give The Mandalorian: Chapter 2 an 8/10.
